Drone strike readiness check: what your site stands to lose and how to cut the loss

In five weeks we show what stops at your site if a drone hits it, what one day of downtime costs and which measures cut the loss most. First findings in week two. We work under NDA.

What it gives you

Five questions owners and site directors bring to us, and the answer you get.

This is how your site looks in the report

An illustrative site: a fuel depot, a substation, a boiler house, two workshops and a finished-goods warehouse. In your report the map is built from your site plan.

Drone strike readiness check: map of an illustrative industrial site with the hit point at the fuel depot, fire spread zones, single points of failure and product flows
  1. 1Fuel depot. The hit point in the scenario.
  2. 2Substation. Feeds both workshops; replacement takes 7–9 months.
  3. 3Boiler house. Steam for both workshops, no backup.
  4. 4Workshop 1. AED 450,000 of revenue a day.
  5. 5Workshop 2. AED 370,000 of revenue a day.
  6. 6Finished-goods warehouse. Stock for 12 days of shipments.

Why it is worth doing now

Preparation takes five weeks. A fire after a strike spreads in minutes. Here is what 2026 showed in the Gulf.

How the work goes and when you get results

Five weeks from the first meeting to the report to the owner. Every step ends with a document you keep.

  1. Week 1Kick-off and dataNDA, site plan, stocks, revenue by product, key contracts.
  2. Week 2Two days on siteA walk-through with the chief engineer and security, interviews.First findings: three vulnerabilities and the cost of a downtime day
  3. Week 3Scenarios and the calculationFire, damage and downtime in AED.
  4. Week 4Measures with managementA working session: what is realistic, what it costs, how much loss it removes.
  5. Week 5Report to the ownerThe report, the site map and a roadmap for 90 days and a year.

Time from your people: one to two hours of interviews each for the chief engineer and the heads of production, warehouse, logistics and security; three hours of management time in week four.

Loss in money, before and after the measures

We choose the measures with you and rank them by the loss each dirham avoids.

Illustrative example: a manufacturing site with revenue of AED 400 million a year.

What you keep

Four documents used by the owner, management, the CFO and security. Figures in the samples are illustrative.

Report to the owner

The three main vulnerabilities and the decisions, on two pages.

Site map with risk zones

Buildings, fire zones and single points of failure.

Loss and downtime calculation

Property damage, downtime and consequences before and after the measures.

Roadmap of measures

What to do in 90 days and in a year, who owns it, what it costs.

Why clients trust us

We see the most sensitive things: the site plan, stocks, contracts and the weak points of the site. So the rules for your data are fixed before we start.

Price

The price is for one site. For several sites we send a quote within two working days.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a fire safety audit or a Civil Defence inspection?

An audit or an inspection checks compliance with requirements. The readiness check answers the owner’s question: how much the company loses in a strike and which measures cut the loss most per dirham. We use those documents as input.

Do you sell or install counter-drone systems?

No. We are not tied to manufacturers or integrators, so our advice is independent. If you need engineering protection, we help you write the requirements for it.

What site data do you need, and what happens to it?

The site plan, a list of buildings, stocks and equipment, revenue by product and key contracts. Everything is shared under NDA and stays with you. For restricted sites we agree the procedure with your security team.

How much time does it take from our people?

The chief engineer and the heads of production, warehouse, logistics and security: one to two hours of interviews each. Management: three hours for the working session in week four.

Can the check be done without a site visit?

Yes, if the site is closed to visitors: we work from the site plan, photos and a video walk-through. Conclusions on fire spread are then less precise, and we say so in the report.

Does the check help with NCEMA 7000?

Yes, as evidence. The report describes critical activities, the impact of their loss over time and the recovery measures, in the terms of AE/SCNS/NCEMA 7000 and ISO 22301. It does not replace a full business continuity management system.

How is this different from the Resilience audit and improvement programme?

The check covers one scenario for one site in five weeks and ends with a roadmap. The programme builds continuity for the whole company: plans, roles, exercises and metrics. 50% of the price of the check is credited if you move to the programme within six months.
