ERGP Essentials

Business continuity basics for every employee. A lightened, shortened edition of the ERGP flagship programme, rebuilt for people whose job is not risk management — so that the whole organisation, not just the continuity team, knows what to do before and during a disruption.

Why organisations run it

Culture

A healthy, everyday risk culture

Employees stop treating risk as someone else's paperwork. Raising a concern becomes normal, quick and safe — the foundation every continuity system actually stands on.

Prevention

Staff who spot risks before they fire

The course trains preventive identification: seeing single points of failure at your own desk, naming them and reporting them — so problems surface as observations, not incidents.

Readiness

Faster, calmer action in a crisis

Every participant learns the first-hour drill: their role, whom to alert, what to do when systems are down, and what never to do. Speed comes from rehearsal, not from bravery.

Proof

Evidence for auditors and regulators

A named certificate for each employee and a completion report for HR — documented awareness training that continuity audits and regulators increasingly expect to see.

The programme — 12 chapters, about two hours

Written in plain language, no jargon walls. Self-paced online: most people finish in two or three sittings. Both editions — English and Arabic — are included in every licence.

  1. What business continuity is — in the words of your own job
  2. What a day of downtime costs, and why prevention is cheaper
  3. The four threats that stop companies most often
  4. My role: what the organisation expects from me before and during a disruption
  5. Single points of failure at my own desk — and how to spot them
  6. How to raise a risk: quick, specific, blame-free
  7. The first 60 minutes of an incident: the all-staff drill
  8. Who speaks and who does not: communication during an incident
  9. Red — Amber — Green: how the response is staged
  10. Working when the systems are down: the paper-and-phone mode
  11. After the incident: honest lessons instead of blame
  12. Final test and your named certificate

Licences are sold to organisations from 10 employees; access for 6 months per participant. We invoice on request — no card or online payment needed. Early-booking companies lock the launch price for their whole rollout.

One pathway, two levels. ERGP Essentials gives every employee the shared language and the reflexes. The continuity team and executives then take the full ERGP certification — 94 chapters, assessed modules and a verifiable certificate. Companies running both get a culture and the people to lead it.

Request a quote for your team

Tell us the approximate number of employees — we reply with a quote, the launch timeline and a sample chapter, usually the same day.

Frequently asked questions

Is the course available now? We are taking early corporate bookings; first groups start in autumn 2026. Early companies get a sample chapter on request, priority onboarding and the launch price locked.

Do employees need any risk background? None. The course is written for people whose job is not risk management — from sales to operations to administration.

What does HR receive? A completion report for the whole group: who finished, test results and certificates issued. Suitable as evidence for audits and awareness-training requirements.

Can we brand or adapt it? For 100+ employee licences we can add your industry examples and internal reporting contacts. Ask in the form above.

How is this different from the full ERGP? ERGP trains the people who run resilience; Essentials trains everyone else. Same methodology, one tenth of the time, and the certificate confirms awareness rather than professional competence.
